Did You Know?

There is $4.6 million in Budget 2012-13 to establish the Saskatchewan Advantage Scholarship Program that provides high school graduates from 2012 onwards with up to $2,000 over four years to be applied toward tuition fees at any Saskatchewan post-secondary institution.

Saskatchewan Savings Bonds are redeemable annually on July 15 at the option of the bondholder.  There is no penalty for redeeming a bond prior to maturity.

To obtain redemption in advance of the maturity date, all bondholders named on the front of the bond must complete the "Demand for Redemption" on the back of the bond and present the bond to any credit union, bank, trust company or investment dealer in Saskatchewan on or prior to June 25 for redemption on July 15.

To redeem Saskatchewan Savings Bonds on or after maturity, the bondholder(s) must present the bond intact (top and bottom portion) to their financial institution.
