There is expanded Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disability (SAID) eligibility – clients will expand from 3,000 to 10,000 adults and benefits will increase by $200 per month (couples up to $230 per month) in July 2012 and by $350 per month (couples up to $400 per month) in the fourth year.

Since the early 2000s, departments/ministries have been releasing plans with the provincial budget and reporting on results achieved, compared to those plans, in their annual report.  Ministries and agencies are required by the Government Organization Act and the Tabling of Documents Act, to table their annual reports in the Legislature and publicly release these reports within 120 days of the close of the fiscal year.

New! 2011-12 Annual Report Content Requirements
The content requirements for the 2011-12 Annual Reports help ministries and agencies develop their annual reports.  The guidelines set out the minimum expectations for the reports, based on the best practices of principle-based reporting.

Environmental Scan Guidelines
These guidelines help ministries develop their environmental scans to inform the planning and budgeting process.  The guidelines have been updated primarily to assist ministries as they better integrate workforce planning into the overall planning process.
